A wood-based heating or a heat pump can also be very efficient solutions to replace your gas or heavy fuel heater. Heating our homes is necessary during the cold Luxemburgish winter, and it's a major source of carbon emissions. To reduce this footprint, a good thermal insulation is essential. Double or triple glazing, insulator, air flow, many solutions already exist and Luxemburgish artisans are very qualified to avoid that your radiators heat the air outside as much as your home!

When is the last time you took the train for your holidays? Sit in your wagon, forget traffic jams, forget airport security and luggae check-in... Travelling by train is the best option for a seamless journey, with (very) low CO2 emissions. Belgium, France, Germany, many destinations are available from Luxemburg, so take advantage of it!

Eat less beef and lamb

Breeding and transportation of beef and lamb have a huge carbon footprint on the planet. Did you know that a simple lamb chop has the same carbon footprint as 30 bananas imported by plane? By reducing your consumption of these meats, the carbon footprint of your meals will very quickly drop. How about increasing quality, and reducing quantity, to enjoy it better?
